The integration of technology into the day-to-day business of transport is in our DNA. The digitalization of our processes makes us more agile, decisiveand enable us to offer more complete solutions and information.
Examples such as the MyHTG platform which is a simple and direct system for customers to access all our services whenever they want, or the free AppHTG application, which facilitates transport communication and coordination, confirm our digital strength. We can build on this strength to prepare for the next technological transition despite the complicated situation due to Covid19.
Legislation is also evolving and we must adapt to new European regulations in electronic information for the transportation of goods and logistics. The European Union gives us a maximum of five years to transition from paper to electronic documentation and public authorities must accept this.
As HTG Express is already both culturally and technologically prepared, we have decided to anticipate and implement the law from now on in our dealings with public authorities and our customers. For example, we will be sending CMRs (Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road) in digital format. Besides being more agile and practical, it is much more environmentally sustainable than the use of paper.
The digitalization of processes is already common in our daily activity, for instance sending invoices or other documents in electronic format. For more than 20 years we have been innovating and promoting technology, believing it will bring a greater degree of efficiency to our customers and suppliers. We are convinced that digitalization and technology are at the service of people.
